Destiny's Challenge Has a New Address!
Jan 13, 10 11:48 PM

Destiny’s Challenge is a kinship open to all LoTRO character classes and races.

While we can generally be described as being casual in our playing approach all of us are working to be able to participate in the high-end content and gather the rewards for our efforts.

To achieve our goals the Kin has structured events that we run under specific guidelines but we do not dictate to our players which character classes to play or how to play them. We learn to succeed with who we have!

We enjoy sharing our knowledge of the LoTRO game with others and are more than willing to help new players learn the game and come up the ranks. Most of our Kinmates have years and years of MMORPG experience as the median age for our player base is 46.

Feel free to read through our Information and Forums to learn more about Destiny's Challenge. If you think that we might be the Kinship you've been looking for please contact us for a meet and greet!

Kin Alliance

DestinysLeader, Jan 28, 10 4:30 PM.
For those of Destiny's Challenge who may not know of our sister-kin, let me introduce you!

Dragco Goldworthy is the Kin Leader of Smaug's Legacy, another smaller sized kin of casual players that want to grow up and do high-end content just like we do! Back in November 2009 when Destiny's Challenge (DC) had about 8 level 60s and a few mates in their 40s, and the majority of Smaug's Legacy (SL) members were in the 40s and 50s, Dragco and Wulfpere agreed to an alliance between the kins. It was our hope that members of each of our kins would get to know one another and play a little with each other so that we could learn each other's leading and fighting styles.

The ultimate reason for allying our Kins was so that when we each reached the point where we were ready to do 12-man and 24-man quests and raids in Moria and Mirkwood that we would have a friendly and known source of manpower to fill in our empty fellowship slots.
